Here to make your healing journey less lonely.

Together we can help you find balance, build confidence, and experience hope. Because you weren’t meant to do this all on your own. I’m dedicated to helping women and birthing people who have experienced infertility, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

Hey there, I'm Lauren –
Your Reproductive Psychologist

I am a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in Westlake Village as well as virtually in California and Hawaii. I received my master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from California Lutheran University. I’ve been working in the mental health field in various settings and with various populations for over 10 years. At my core, my passion is helping individuals who have experienced trauma as well as those who are dealing with issues and challenges that arise during the perinatal period (conception through postpartum). I began my trauma-focused specialty early on in my training and quickly observed how many common mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, poor self-esteem etc. develop in response to trauma. A little further into my career, I experienced both a personal and professional transformation as I began the journey to motherhood. My personal experiences through pregnancy, loss, postpartum, and parenting have had me in awe of the many unanticipated challenges (and joys) of matrescence and a passion for supporting mothers as they navigate this season of life.

My areas of clinical focus include trauma, infertility and pregnancy loss, third party reproduction and donor conception, pregnancy and postpartum, anxiety and mood disorders, adjustment and transitional issues, relationship difficulties, family of origin problems, and identity concerns. I also love working with college students, high-achieving professionals, and perfectionists. I have completed advanced training and have significant experience treating trauma and other mental health issues with EMDR therapy. I also have advanced training and certification in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, loss and infertility, and perinatal trauma.

I live in Southern California with my family. When I’m not working I love reading, spending time outdoors, traveling, and going to concerts.

My approach is warm and collaborative. With a strong relationship as the foundation, I'll help you gain insight, problem-solve, find relief, and sustain meaningful change. I take an individualized approach and consider your background and identities to be central to understanding you, your strengths, and your challenges.

In my practice I strive to provide a therapeutic relationship that honors and affirms diversity and recognizes the complexity of each individual. I am passionate about providing care that is culturally sensitive and affirming.

My work takes into consideration each patient’s intersecting identities and backgrounds as well as systems of oppression. I have undergone and continue to seek out training and education that is multiculturally informed. Likewise, I am experienced and passionate about working with individuals from various ethnic, gender, sexual, and socioeconomic backgrounds, especially those who experience oppression, marginalization, discrimination, and belong to underserved populations. I consider myself an ally to the BIPOC, APIDA, LGBTQ+, and undocumented populations.
